HABIT: Harassment, Abuse, and Bullying Intervention Training is a comprehensive harassment prevention course designed specifically for the theatre industry. Through theatre-specific scenarios, interactive quizzes, and practical tools such as the Five D’s of Bystander Intervention, participants learn to recognize, prevent, and respond to harassment, abuse, and bullying—including sexual harassment and discrimination based on protected characteristics. Grounded in federal law and adaptable through state and city add-ons, this course equips artists, administrators, and leaders with the knowledge and skills needed to meet legal obligations, intervene effectively, and foster safer, more respectful creative workplaces. This course was written and designed by Colette Gregory, M.A. M.Ed with oversight from Bliss Griffin, J.D., M.B.A. and was produced by Crystal Williams of Crystal Sky Creative.
